Does this replace my doctor?

No. Medical Records Vault is an educational tool that helps you arrive at appointments prepared and helps you understand what was already said to you. It never diagnoses, never tells you to change a medication or a dose, and every output ends with "ask your doctor". Our goal is to make your 10-minute visit more useful, not to replace it.

Can I trust this with my parent's records?

Yes — with two honest caveats. First, you should only upload someone else's records if they've consented, or if you're the legally recognised caregiver. Second, if your records fall under HIPAA (US) and must stay inside a BAA-covered boundary, please wait until we announce HIPAA coverage. For everyone else: records are encrypted at rest (AES-256 via AWS KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), never used to train AI models, and you can export or delete everything at any time. Multi-patient profiles mean a caregiver can manage one parent's records without them ever needing to log in.

You upload any medical document — discharge summaries, lab reports, prescriptions, doctor notes, imaging reports, vaccination records, hospital bills — and it organises them, explains them in plain English, and lets you ask questions about your own records, with answers that cite the exact lines in your documents.

Who is Medical Records Vault for?

Adults managing their own or a family member's health records. Most of our early users are adult children managing an ageing parent's paperwork, patients with chronic conditions tracking their own labs, and anyone recently discharged from hospital.

What documents can I upload?

Discharge summaries, lab and pathology reports, prescriptions, doctor notes, imaging reports (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound radiology reports), vaccination records, and hospital bills. PDF and image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC) up to 20 MB per file.

How accurate is the AI?

The AI is accurate enough to be useful as a first pass — at explaining what a medicine is commonly used for, what a lab value measures, and what questions to ask your doctor. It is not a medical-grade extraction. We flag low-confidence items with green / amber / red confidence badges and surface them in the "questions for your doctor" list.

What if Medical Records Vault gets something wrong?

Every answer cites the exact line in your document, so you can verify. Under every extracted field there's a "Report an issue" button that emails contact@fourtwos.com with the context. You can also re-run the analysis with one click. Reported issues feed directly into our prompt improvements.

Is this a diagnosis?

No, and by design it can't be. The system prompt explicitly forbids diagnosing. Asking "what do I have?" gets a hedged answer about what was documented, never a clinical verdict.

What happens to my data?

Your documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256 via AWS KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). They are never used to train AI models. You can delete them anytime — soft-delete with a 30-day restore window, then hard-deletion. You can export everything as a ZIP whenever you want. If we ever have a security incident that touches your data, we'll email you within 72 hours.

Is Medical Records Vault HIPAA-compliant?

No, not today. We do not yet have a Business Associate Agreement with OpenAI or Anthropic. If you are a US patient whose records must stay within a HIPAA boundary, please wait until we announce HIPAA coverage. We'd rather lose your signup than mislead you.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. Medical Records Vault has a single business model: subscriptions. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or researchers.

Where does my data live?

In a PostgreSQL database on an encrypted AWS volume in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region by default. Backups go to encrypted S3 in the same region. We'll publish region choice in settings as we add more regions.

What if someone uploaded a record of mine without consent?

Write to contact@fourtwos.com with the details. We'll take down the content and confirm within 48 hours. You do not need a Medical Records Vault account to file a takedown.

Can I manage my family's records today?

Yes, right now. Multi-patient profiles let one user manage records for themselves, their parents, and their kids — with per-person filters on every list, timeline, and trend chart. Your parent never needs to log in themselves.

Can my spouse, parent, or caregiver see my records from their own account?

Multi-user family circles are coming soon. In the meantime, you can share any single record as a 7-day read-only link with your family or your doctor, and they don't need an account to view it.

Can I use Medical Records Vault for my child?

Yes. Children's records sit under their own profile inside your account. When family circles ship, ownership will transfer to them as an adult account when they turn 13 — with a reminder to you.

Medical Records Vault is free during public beta. Our planned GA pricing is: Free (3 documents), Personal (~$4/mo), Family (~$8-10/mo, up to 5 members), and Lifetime (~$149 one-time, first 500 customers). No surprise bills — every tier has a daily AI cost cap.

Medical Records Vault is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Install it from your browser on phone or desktop. Native App Store and Play Store apps are on the roadmap but not a priority — the PWA already supports camera capture and offline reading.
